Victor Tiberius (2010): Didactics of Futures Studies
Abstract
Futures studies is taught in more than 20 university degree programmes around the world, as well as in numerous individual courses. However, didactical aspects are only seldom discussed. A theoretical and empirical study based on a content analysis of degree programmes and qualitative interviews with instructors of futures studies is summarised in this paper in order to find answers to the five main issues of didactics: teaching objectives, teaching topics and content, teaching methods, media, and examinations.
