Disfrutar again
Located in the heart of Barcelona’s Eixample district, Disfrutar is the celebrated three-Michelin-star venue run by chefs Oriol Castro, Eduard Xatruch, and Mateu Casañas. These three, formerly of the famous El Bulli, have transformed Mediterranean-inspired cuisine into one of the world’s most imaginative dining experiences. As a nod to its global recognition, Disfrutar’s elevation to No. 1 on the 2024 World’s 50 Best list further underlines the team’s ambition.
The Festival Menu at Disfrutar is a dense, multi-course journey of roughly 30 dishes built around seasonal innovation, technique and pure invention. Expect dishes such as avant-garde takes on Mediterranean-Latin fusion, edible spheres, transparent noodles, playful textures and an exuberant visual and flavour narrative. Signatures are re-conceived: for example, a caviar-filled panchino doughnut, re-imagined pesto spheres with smoked eel, and monthly truffle highlights climactically closing the dinner.
